Hey hey! We're so excited to team up with you to pull off something that’s going to be absolutely incredible for women over 40!

The Leverage Your Life Virtual Summit is a 5-day event that will empower women over 40 to take life to the next level.

On this page, you’ll find all kinds of resources meant to make your experience as a speaker as easy as possible. Our aim is to answer any questions you might have. HOW IT'LL ALL WORK

Let’s do a quick rundown of how the whole thing will work.

The event will run from March 22nd - 26th with four to six pre-recorded presentations being featured each day. Your presentations will include 15-20 minutes of content (with up to a 3-minute pitch). 

Each day's presentations will be live for 24-hours and we'll offer an all-access pass as a paid option for attendees who want to purchase the entire summit package. Because the presentations are only live for a short time, it's important to keep the presentations at the recommended length to honor our attendees' time.

Along with the featured presentations, there will be a Facebook group for attendees to hang out in, make new connections, hold each other accountable, and ask all of us additional questions. If attendees have good questions while your presentation is going on, you’ll be able to go live in the Facebook group for a bit of an encore to answer those questions, connect with the attendees, and provide even more value.

All of each day’s recordings will be revealed at 6 AM Pacific Time, but you’ll be able to select a time on our calendar that works for you to be live inside the Facebook Group. 

The additional Facebook live is not required, but it does provide an excellent experience for summit attendees and we encourage your participation.

PROMOTION

Leading up to the summit, we’ll have two weeks of promotion. You’ll be provided with email swipe copy, social media swipe copy, and social media graphics to make it all easy. We'll even have a suggested posting/sending schedule for you to make promo easy to outsource to a VA.

During the promotion phase, as the summit is running, and for a week after the summit is complete, we’ll also be promoting the All-Access Pass VIP Edition. This includes an All-Access Pass for the replays, as well as products or services that you’d like to donate. This will provide immense value to our attendees, while making the work of promoting and creating a presentation worthwhile by allowing you to bring in affiliate commissions. 

NOTE: We'd love to get your input on suggestions for a great VIP package. One speaker suggested we can all set aside an hour to be on Zoom with each speaker in their own room allowing attendees to choose who they want to engage with - Great idea, Pam!

WHAT WE'LL NEED FROM YOU

So this all sounds great, but what kind of work does it require of you? Our goal is to make this process as easy as humanly possible so we can all have a blast while providing great value and growing our businesses.


1. BASIC INFORMATION

The first thing I’ll need is some very basic information from you so we can finish up our registration page and create our speakers page. After you read through the ins and outs of the summit, there's a form to fill out at the bottom of this page.

2. PRESENTATION SLOT SCHEDULE

Using the form provided at the bottom of this page you’ll be able to schedule your preferred presentation day/time. 

NOTE: This is first come first served scheduling! 

During this slot, once your presentation has had time to air, you’ll also be able to jump into the Facebook group for an encore and to answer any great questions that weren’t answered in your presentation. (These Facebook lives will also be added to the All-Access Pass VIP version).

3. PRESENTATION

Next up is your presentation! This is a 15-20 minute pre-recorded presentation that is meant to be more friendly and casual than perfect and structured. We want our attendees to learn something great, while having fun in the process.

Please structure your content in a way that allows attendees to walk away feeling like they've really learned something, rather than a webinar format where they feel like they're missing something that they need to buy from you asap.

With that being said, you have your choice of the following presentation formats:

  • Slides
  • No slides (just your gorgeous face)
  • A mixture of the two

No matter what format you choose, you are free to use your presentation however you’d like in the future, and your presentation will become part of the All-Access Pass and the All-Access Pass VIP version.

Your presentation should include great, actionable content. Here’s the suggested format:

  • A quick introduction. Starting with a hook is better than talking about yourself. You want to draw them into your presentation to deliver maximum value and let them learn about you through your bio.
  • An overview of your topic.
  • Where people go wrong with your topic and tend to over complicate it.
  • Teaching section.
  • Specific action steps (with the goal of simplifying their existing process).
  • Up to a 3-minute pitch.
  • Mention what time you’ll be live in the attendee Facebook Group to answer questions.
  • So that you can collect email addresses, please provide a free opt-in during your presentation.

4. ALL-ACCESS PASS VIP UPSELL CONTRIBUTION 

The All-Access Pass VIP Upsell is something that will provide more value for our attendees and more exposure for you.  To make it work, however, I’ll ask each of you to provide one resource to add.

If you don't know what you'll contribute yet - no worries! On the form below we're asking for you to tell us whether you want to participate. A shorter form specifically for the VIP Upsell will be sent to you once we know whether or not we have enough participation to offer one.

Things to include can be:

  • eBooks
  • Workbooks
  • Courses (big or small)
  • 1-month memberships
  • Freebies

Note: We expect this to convert well so we don't recommend contributing any 1:1 offers.

It’s totally up to you to decide whether you’d like to create something new or provide something you already have. While this isn’t required, it’s highly encouraged that you participate as this will help increase the know-like-trust factor that can lead to more sales.

*The VIP product is contingent upon a majority participation. 

Anyone who does contribute a premium resource (aka not something you're giving away for free somewhere else) will get a 70% affiliate commission on sales, rather than 60%.

Information for these resources is due NO LATER THAN March 5th. You'll receive a questionnaire to fill out closer to that time to make passing the information to me nice and simple.

5. PROMOTION

The power of an online summit comes from a group of experts coming together for a single cause. The joint promotion that happens because of that is a huge benefit to everyone involved.

Because of that, everyone is encouraged to share on social media and to email their lists during the promotion period, starting on March 8, 2021.

You’ll want to share using your affiliate link so you can get in on the 60% commission that will come from any All-Access Pass VIP Version sales (70% if you've contributed a premium bonus). Affiliate link registration will be available starting on February 15th, and we will notify you.

Because we need to gauge interest in the VIP Package we’ll wait until we have a general consensus before setting up affiliate links to ensure those who participate receive the 70%.

We’ll be providing swipe copy and graphics in a Resource Vault at a later date - stay tuned!

6. LIVE PARTICIPATION

And last comes participation during the week of the event. Since we’ll already have done the work of creating the presentations and extra resources, we’ll be able to sit back and relax for the most part!

All we ask is that you interact in the Facebook group throughout the week to help attendees stay excited and engaged.

While you're not required to attend the events of other speakers, it’s highly encouraged! We’ll be able to get some great discussions going about the topics being presented.

7. AFFILIATE DETAILS

While summits are great for overall visibility and making new connections, a little extra income never hurts either, right?

That’s exactly why we’ve set up an affiliate program for the All-Access Pass and All-Access Pass VIP where you’ll receive a commission from all sales from traffic you refer to the event. Payouts will be made immediately upon purchase. We have a no-refund policy which allows you to earn it and forget it!

The commission structure is as follows:

  • 60% for all speakers
  • 70% for all speakers who include a premium bonus

To make it as easy as possible for you to generate extra income, the Affiliate Center will include things like email swipe copy, social media copy, and social share graphics. However, you’re more than welcome to write your own copy and even run your own Facebook ads. All you really need to do is share, share, and share some more using your link!

As with all affiliate promotions, be sure to disclose that you’re an affiliate when sharing with your audience.
